The KeRRA Participation in this Year’s Agricultural Society of Kenya Shows (2024)
The Agricultural Society of Kenya serves as a platform for stakeholders to showcase innovations, share knowledge and foster collaboration. It organizes various exhibitions throughout the year aimed at addressing evolving agricultural needs in Kenya. Participation in the A.S.K show is vital in promoting innovation, networking and community engagement.
The Authority has concluded its annual participation in the A.S.K shows last of it being the recently concluded Kitale show. It has been a fruitful year with the Authority scooping multiple awards for its outstanding performance and display of its core mandate while aligning to this year’s theme of the Agricultural Society of Kenya.
The Kenya Rural Roads Authority participated in 5 shows this year; the Nakuru show, Mombasa show, Nyeri show, Nairobi International Trade Fair and Kitale show respectively whereby we managed to bag awards in all the shows. The most notable being the Nyeri A.S.K show where the Authority bagged 7 awards as follows:
The Authority also bagged awards in the other three shows we competed in having winning three awards at the Mombasa show, four awards at the Nakuru show and three awards at the Kitale show.
These accolades are majorly attributed to KeRRA’s commitment to improving the rural road network to enhance accessibility, promote economic development and improve the quality of life in the rural areas.
