UPGRADING TO BITUMEN STANDARDS AND PERFORMANCE BASED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF VARIOUS ROADS.

Addendum No & ANNEX

Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the Authority’s website and the MyGov pullout on The Star Newspaper dated 25^th March 2025 and Addendum No. 1 dated 29^th March, 2025.

Interested Bidders are requested to note the following amendment for the Tender published under the above referenced Tender Notice;

1. The unit of measurement for Item No.15.03 in the Bill of Quantities for the tender for Upgrading to Bitumen Standard of Mulot – Sogoo -Tendet – Sopet – Sogoo – Ololunga and Shartuka – Njipship – Olchobosei – Gorgor Roads, Tender No. RWC/684 was incorrectly indicated as square meters (m²). The unit of measure for Item No. 15.03 is hereby amended to read as cubic meters (m³). The revised Bill No. 15 with the amended Item No. 15.03 is attached herewith as Annex 1.
2. That the submission and opening date for Tender for Upgrading to Bitumen Standard of Mulot – Sogoo -Tendet – Sopet – Sogoo – Ololunga and Shartuka – Njipship – Olchobosei – Gorgor Roads, Tender No. RWC/684 remains as on or before 10^th April, 2025 at 11.00am as had been given under Addendum No. 1 dated 29^th March, 2025.
3. Interested bidders should note that the amendment detailed herewith takes precedence.
4. All interested bidders are required to continuously check the Kenya Rural Roads Authority website: kerra.go.ke for any tender addenda or clarifications that may arise before the submission date.
5. Interested Bidders with enquiries are encouraged to do so vide the email address procurementhq@kerra.go.ke.
6. All other information pertaining to the tender remains the same.
