TENDER NOTICE  

ADDENDUM NO. 1

REGISTRATION OF CONTRACTORS/ SUPPLIERS FOR ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKS FOR THE PERIOD STARTING JULY 2025 AND ENDING JUNE 2027.

Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the Authority’s website and The MyGov Issue No. 45/2024-2025 pullout of the Star Newspaper dated 20^th May, 2025.

The Authority has received numerous requests for clarification on the above referenced procurement and Interested Applicants are requested to note the following clarifications;

1. That the Registration of Contractors shall be through the KeRRA e-procurement portal.
2. That the Registration of Contractors shall be for the Forty-Seven (47) KeRRA Regions and that interested applicants should submit their applications per region of interest.
3. Interested Applicants who have already submitted their applications through the portal should confirm if their attachments have successfully been uploaded. If not, they are required to re-attach and upload.
4. Interested Applicants who had challenges in retrieving their login passwords after creating their profile should redo the profile application and re-submit to access the password for portal access and login.
5. Interested Applicants who already have an existing profile and cannot recall their password to Login can generate their password by clicking on the “Forgot Your Password” tab on the login page or click the link https://eprocurement.kerra.go.ke/Home/Login.
6. Interested Applicants who are interacting with the KeRRA e-procurement portal for the first (1^st) time should CREATE their profile to be able to access the portal and make their registration submission through the KeRRA website or click the link https://eprocurement.kerra.go.ke/Home/Login and click on the “Register” tab on the login page.
7. Interested Applicants are advised to download and use the Registration Manual Guide to assist them through the Registration Process. The Manual can be accessed from the Authority’s website kerra.go.ke, or through the link (https://kerra.go.ke/ova_doc/invitation-to-apply-for-registration-registration-of-contractors-suppliers-for-road-maintenance-works/)
8. Qualified and interested applicants may download a complete set of the Registration Document from the Authority’s website kerra.go.ke, or (https://kerra.go.ke/ova_doc/invitation-to-apply-for-registration-registration-of-contractors-suppliers-for-road-maintenance-works/) or click on ON-LINE SERVICES drop-down menu and select e-procurement portal or use the https://eprocurement.kerra.go.ke/ URL.
9. That the complete set of the Registration Document should be downloaded either from the Authority’s website or from the e-procurement portal as indicated above. Applicants are required to fill the Registration Document as appropriate, sign, stamp, scan the document into PDF format and upload to the Authorities e-procurement portal. The required mandatory documents should be attached as part of the Registration Documents.
10. That the submission date for the Registration of Contractors for the period starting July 2025 and ending June 2027 has been revised from 4^th June, 2025 to 19^th June, 2025 at 11.00am.
11. Interested Applicants are required to continually check the Authority’s website: kerra.go.ke for any tender addendums or clarifications that may arise before submission date.
