UPGRADING WORKS, REHABILITATION, SPOT IMPROVEMENT, GRAVELLING AND CONSTRUCTION OF STRUCTURES FOR THE FY 2025/2026

Clarification No. 2 & ANNEX

Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the Star Newspaper dated 2nd October, 2025, the Long Advert dated 21st October, 2025, Clarification No. 1 dated 28th October, 2025, Addendum No. 1 dated 3rd November, 2025, Addendum No. 2 dated 14th November, 2025 and Addendum No. 3 dated 26^th November, 2025.

 

Interested Bidders are requested to note the following clarifications;

 

1. The location for the Tender for Upgrading to Bitumen Standard of Cheptiret – Chepkongony – Chebolol – Koitebes – Wonifor – Flax – Kileges Roads, Tender No. RWC 707 is detailed as;

 

“The project road is located in Kesses and Ainabkoi Constituencies of Uasin Gishu County and Keiyo South Constituency of Elgeiyo Marakwet County. The length of the project roads is approximately 23 Kms of which 8 Kms is in Kesses and 12 Kms is in Ainabkoi Constituency of Uasin Gishu County and 3 Kms in Keiyo South of Elgeiyo Marakwet County.”

2. The correct Tender name for the Tender Opoda Bondokajamboka Jnct – Dunya Jnct – Kibuye – Barkwowino/ Migwena, Awelo Jnct – Atilili – Jooust – Konyando – Kopeklele – Kayucho Jnct. & Migwena – Oiko – Oganyo – Mitiro – Nyamira Link Roads, Tender No. RWC/765 is Bondo Bypass.
3. The correct and applicable Weightings for Price Adjustment for all the tenders under Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4 shall be as detailed in Annex 1 attached herein.
4. The correct and applicable wording on Arbitration with National Contractors given in the Special Conditions of Contract clause 20.5.1 is as detailed in Annex 2 attached herein. This applies to all tenders under Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4, and tenders under Lot 1 i.e. RWC/699, RWC/701, RWC/703, RWC/704, RWC/722, RWC/723A & RWC/724.
5. The submission and opening dates & time remain as detailed in the Addendums for all Lots.
6. All interested bidders are required to continually check the KeRRA website: www.kerra.go.ke for any tender addendums or clarifications that may arise before submission date.
