TENDER NOTICE

ADDENDUM No. 2

 

UPGRADING, SPOT IMPROVEMENT, CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE STRUCTURES ON VARIOUS ROADS

Addendum No. 2 RAM BATCH 1 14.1.2026 Updated

Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the Authority’s website and the Local Dailies dated 9^th December, 2025, together with the detailed Long Advertisement and uploaded documents on the KeRRA website dated 19^th December, 2025 and Addendum No. 1 dated 29^th December, 2025.

 

1. Interested Bidders are requested to note the following;

1	Spot Improvement of Kamangu Gardens – OndiriCatholic – Matimu -Nderi Rural Road; Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/11/2025 – 2026	1.   Amend ITT 21.1 under the Tender Data Sheet to read as follows;   “Tender Security shall Not be required. Provide a properly and dully filled signed and stamped Tender Security Declaration Form”   Delete entirely the statement that reads “If a Tender Security shall be required, the amount and currency of the Tender Security shall be KSHS. Eight Hundred Thousand (800,000.00)” 2.   Amend Evaluation Criteria No. 1 under Table 1 of Section III on Evaluation and Qualification Criteria 2 (A) preliminary evaluation to read as follows;   “Provide a properly and dully filled signed and stamped Tender Security Declaration Form”   Delete entirely the statement that reads “Provide a Tender Security of Kshs. 800,000.00 in the required format.
2	Spot Improvement of Karia – Ikinu Road; Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/12/2025 – 2026	1.     Amend ITT 21.1 under the Tender Data Sheet by deleting the statement;   “Provide a properly and dully filled signed and stamped Tender Security Declaration Form”   2.     The Bill of Quantities and the Scope for the Tender for Spot Improvement of Karia – Ikinu Road, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/ 12/2025-2026 has been revised and the Revised Tender Document shall be available as from 16th January, 2026. 3	Spot Improvement of Ndumbuini – Kanyiriri – Gitaru Road, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/16/2025-2026	The Bill of Quantities and the Scope for the Tender for Spot Improvement of Ndumbuini – Kanyiriri – Gitaru Road, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/16/2025-2026 has been revised and the Revised Tender Document shall be available as from 16th January, 2026. Ndumbuini – Kanyayriri – Gitaru Revised Document
4	Spot Improvement of Kwaheri – Maria Magdalina Thika Road; Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/17/2025 -2026	1.   The NCA requirement under Long Advertisement S/No. 17 Tender for Kwaheri – Maria Magdalina Thika Road has been amended to read as NCA 2 or 3 or 4 as indicated in the Tender Document.   2.   The Description for Bill items 25.1 has been amended as captured below and shall replace that captured under the BOQ in the tender document Item No. Description Unit Qty Rate 25.01 Allow for a prime cost sum for of Kshs 750,000 (Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand) for ESIA study and report, Compliance Audits and environmental monitoring. PC Sum 1 750,000.00

 

2. The submission date and time for ALL the other tenders listed under the Long Advertisement and the uploaded documents dated 19^th December, 2025 has been revised from 15^th January, 2026 to on or before 27^th January, 2026 at 11:00AM.
3. Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and deposited in the Tender Boxes at the offices of the RESPECTIVE REGIONAL DIRECTORS as indicated in the initial Long Advertisement that can be downloaded from the Authority’s website.
4. Bulky tenders which do not fit in the Tender Box shall be delivered to the Supply Chain Management Office located at the respective Regional Offices.
5. All interested bidders are required to continually check the Kenya Rural Roads Authority website: kerra.go.ke for any tender addendums or clarifications that may arise before submission date.
6. Bidders with enquiries are encouraged to do so vide the email address procurementhq@kerra.go.ke.
7. All other information as pertaining to the tenders remains the same.
