TENDER NOTICE 

UPGRADING OF VARIOUS ROAD PROJECTS – LOT 13

Long Advert Lot 13 Roads – 22 Sept 2026 (1)

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a state corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, responsible for managing, developing, rehabilitating, and maintaining rural roads.

1. Reference is made to the advert that appeared in the MyGov Supplement of 17^th August, 2026.
2. The Authority hereby invites bids from eligible Construction Companies to bid for upgrading various Roads to be financed by the Government of Kenya through the Development Vote.
3. Bidders are required to download tender documents from the Authority’s website, www.kerra.go.ke, from
   25^th September, 2026.

5. PRE-TENDER SITE VISITS shall be OPEN but MANDATORY. Bidders are required to visit respective sites in liaison with the Regional Directors at their own arranged time as guided by the respective Regional Directors. Bidders are required to obtain a Pre-tender Site Visit Certificate duly signed by the respective Regional Directors.

7. Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and deposited in the Tender Box at the third floor South Wing of Barabara Plaza Block B or be addressed and posted to the address indicated below so as to be received on or before the dates detailed in the table above.
8. Bulky tenders, which do not fit in the Tender Box, shall be delivered to the Supply Chain Management Office located on the 3rd Floor, Barabara Plaza, Block B.
9. Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter as indicated in the table above at the Ground Floor Board Room, Barabara Plaza, Block B, in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.

11. Bids not received at the submission venue by the closing date and time will not be accepted for opening and will be rejected and returned unopened.
12. All pages of the tender documents submitted by bidders shall be sequentially serialized including the cover page.
