Kenya Rural Roads Authority, Narok Region, wishes to inform interested bidders that the Bills of Quantity (BOQ) for the following Tenders were erroneously missing / omitted in the tender document

INVITATION TO TENDER FOR DRAINAGE AND SPOT
INVITATION TO TENDER
The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a State corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, with the responsibility for management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of rural roads.
The Authority, Narok Region, hereby invites sealed bids from prequalified contractors in Category C,D,E in Narok Region together with those entities under Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) programme to tender for Roadworks Projects below.
- SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work is as detailed in the tender documents
- MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Interested bidders must meet and submit the following mandatory requirements with their tender:-
- Certified Copy of certificate of Incorporation / Business Registration Certificate, (to be certified by commissioner of Oaths)
- Certified Copy of current CR12, (to be certified by commissioner of Oaths)
- Certified Copy of National Identity Card (I.D) / Valid National passport of all Directors of the company, (to be certified by commissioner of Oaths)
- Copy of PIN and VAT Certificate
- Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
- Copy of Valid Certificate of Registration and Practicing Licence from the National Construction Authority (NCA 8 and above)
- Copy of Valid Certificate of registration by National Treasury for the specific Special Groups (Youth, Women and Persons with Disability). Those registered under category of persons with disability to also provided copy identification / registration card from National Council for Persons with Disability.
- Authority for person signing the Tender (Provide Power of Attorney)
- Authority to seek references from Tenderer’s Bankers
- Proof of Bank account in the Contractor’s name (attach Bank Statement for last three (3) Months)
- Provide signed and stamped audited accounts for the last 3 years
- Serialization or Pagination of bid documents
- Dully filled, signed and stamped forms in the Tender Documents as follows:
- Form of tender
- Confidential business questionnaire
- Fraud and Corruption Form
- Current litigation information and also provide a sworn affidavit
- TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL EVALUATION REQUIREMENTS
Threshold specified in the tender documents covering the following
- Proof of similar previous experience
- Proof of ownership of equipment holding or Lease agreement necessary for undertaking the specified works
- Current Workload
- ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bidders interested in the Open Tenders must be prequalified in the Region
- No bidder shall be awarded more than two contract per constituency in one financial year, unless it has been certified as substantially complete.
- Bids must be valid for 150 days from the date of tender opening

Pre-tender site visit:
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, there shall be no pre-tender site visits. However, the bidders are encouraged to make personal arrangement to acquaint themselves with the site before submission of the bids.
Interested bidders are requested to download tender documents from the Authority’s Website www.kerra.go.ke with effect from 16th September 2022 or obtain complete tender documents from Narok Regional Office during normal working hours upon payment a non refundable fee of Ksh. 1,000.00 (Kenya Shillings One Thousand) per document payable into account No. 1114343196, Account Name KeRRA-A-I-A, KCB Moi Avenue Branch. The bank deposits slip to be submitted to the accounts office for issuance of a receipt of the authority for each of the documents.
Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked: “tender no. ….……” should be addressed and submitted to:

The sealed bids MUST be deposited in the tender box at the Narok Regional office on or before 28th Septembert, 2022 at 11.00 am. Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter in the presence of tenderers or Representatives who wish to attend. Late submission of bids shall not be accepted
