Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the Authority’s website and the Local Dailies dated 21^st November, 2022.

Interested Bidders are requested to note the following;

1. That clarifications for the respective tenders have been issued through Addendum No. 1.

2. Full details of the Clarification and Addendum No. 1 can be downloaded from the Authority’s website kerra.go.ke and or www.tenders.go.ke.

3. The request for clarifications has necessitated the Revision of the Tender Documents for the above-named tenders. Interested bidders may download the Revised Tender Documents from the Authorities website as from 14^th December, 2022.

4. The submission dates for the Tender for (1) Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Internet Services to KeRRA Head Office, Wide Area Network (WAN) Services to Disaster Recovery Center And 47 Regional Offices. Tender No.: KeRRA/08/38/03/2022-2023, (2) Provision of Printing Services at KeRRA Head Office. Tender No.: KeRRA/08/38/02/2022-2023 and (3) Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Post Implementation Support of The Basement Traffic Access Control System and CCTV Cameras at KeRRA Headquarters. Tender No.: KeRRA/08/37/07/2022 – 2023 has been revised from 8^th December, 2022 to 28^th December, 2022 at 11.00am.

5. The Pre-Tender Site visit date has been revised to be from 15^th December, 2022 to 19^th December, 2022. Interested Bidders who participate in the Pre-Tender Site Visit should have their Site Visit Certificates Signed by an Authorised KeRRA representative as guided in the Tender Document.

6. All other information remains the same:

Bids not received at the submission venue by the closing time will not be accepted for opening and will be rejected and returned unopened.

Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007 with the responsibility for management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of Rural Roads.

The Authority hereby invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders to be financed through the RMLF Vote for;

Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information and inspect/download the Tender documents and long advertisement free of charge from the Kenya Rural Roads Authority’s website www.kerra.go.ke  and/or www.tenders.go.ke as from Thursday 24^th November 2022.

All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security as specified and in form of a Bank Guarantee or guarantee from an insurance company approved by PPRA in the format provided in the tender document.

Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and deposited in the Tender Box located on Ground Floor, Barabara Plaza Block B, or be addressed and posted to the below address on or before 8^th December, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

Tenderer for  SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING AND POST IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT OF THE BASEMENT TRAFFIC ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM AND CCTV CAMERAS AT KeRRA HEADQUARTERS -BARABARA PLAZA BLOCK B-  will be required to visit KeRRA Headquarters offices and examine the site between 25^th November, 2022 - 5^th December, 2022 during normal office working hours (08: 00 to 17:00 hours Mondays to Fridays) and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the tender document from the Deputy Director, ICT. The costs of visiting the sites shall be at the Tenderer’s own expense.

Bulky tenders which do not fit in the Tender Box shall be delivered to the reception office located on the Ground Floor, Barabara Plaza, Block B.

All pages of the submitted documents are to be Serialized from the First page to the last page.

Opening of the Bids will take place at the same venue immediately thereafter in the presence of Tenderers or their Representatives who wish to attend.
