PROVISION OF INSURANCE SERVICES FOR GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT, GROUPLIFE ASSURANCE & WORK INJURY BENEFITS

  1. The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a state corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act 2007, with the responsibility of management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of Rural Roads.
  1. The Authority hereby invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Tender for Provision of Insurance Services for Group Personal Accident, Group Life Assurance & Work Injury Benefits.

 

  1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Insurance Underwriters.

 

  1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours i.e., 0900 to1600 hours at the address given below. More details on the Services are provided in PART 2 - Services' Requirements, Section V - Description of Services of the Tender Document.

  1. Bidders are advised to download the Tender Document from the Authority’s website kerra.go.ke and PPIP Portal www.tenders.go.ke free of charge with effect from 16th January 2023
  1. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Kenya Shillings One Million Shillings Only] of [KShs. 1,000,000.00.]
  2. Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and deposited in the Tender Box located on Ground Floor, Barabara Plaza Block B, or be addressed and posted to the below address on or before 3rd February, 2023 at 11.00am.
  1. Bulky Tender Documents which do not fit in the Tender Box shall be delivered to the reception office located on the 3rd Floor, South Wing, Barabara Plaza, Block B.
  1. Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter at the Ground Floor Board Room, Barabara Plaza, Block B in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
  1. Bids not received at the submission venue by the closing date and time will not be accepted for opening and will be rejected and returned unopened.
  1. The Contract for this tender shall run for a Period of Two (2) years.
