FY 2022-2023 10%CRC  ROUTINE & SPOT MAINTENANCE OF ROAD IN NAKURU REGION.

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a State Corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, with the responsibility for the management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of roads under Class C, D, E & Others

Kenya Rural Roads Authority (Nakuru Region) invites bids from Registered Contractors for projects to be funded through 10% Fuel Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF)  in Nakuru Region  for Routine  maintenance of the following roads:

ELIGIBILITY:

• Proof of having Registered as a contractor in Nakuru Region for open tenders

       Or Valid AGPO certificate for special Group Category (Youth/Women/PWD)

• Bidders will be awarded only one contract in Region.

Tender documents may be downloaded free of charge from our website www.kerra.go.ke Kenya Rural Roads Authority from 30th January , 2023.

 A Mandatory Pretender Site visit will be on 1st ,2nd  and 3rd February, 2023.  All to assemble at the Regional Director’s Office apart from Gilgil Constituency where participants will assemble at Gilgil near CDFC offices and Naivasha at Naivasha Constituency Office.

A Completed tender document in plain sealed envelopes indicating tender No. and bearing no indication of the tenderer should be addressed to: -

and deposited in the Tender Box situated at KeRRA Regional Office, Nakuru located in Public Works Building along Prison Road 2nd Floor on or before 9th February 2023 at 10.00a.m. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter and contractors who wish to be present during tender opening can attend.

1. Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.

2. Bids not received at the submission venue by the closing date and time will not be accepted for opening and will be rejected and returned unopened.

3. Errors in the pricing of the Bills of Quantities will not be corrected. Bidders with such errors will be disqualified.

4. Bidders with ongoing projects in the region need not to apply.

5. Bidders are advised to regularly visit the KeRRA website for any information/addendums on the above tender.

The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and is not bound to accept the lowest of any tender.
