TENDER NOTICE |

Kenya Rural Roads Authority, Nandi Region on behalf of the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development invites eligible Prequalified/Registered Firms (FY 2021/2023) contractors in Nandi Hills Constituencies respectively under category ‘C’, ‘D’ or ‘E’ and entities under Access to Government procurement opportunities (AGPO) for (Youth, Women and People Living with Disability) Programme to tender for road works projects under the 10% CS Allocation funds for the financial year 2022/2023.
INSTRUCTIONS TO TENDERERS:
There shall be a Pre-Tender Site Visit for the various roads on Wednesday 15th February,2023 starting form 8.00 am and Bidders are to make their own transport arrangements to the site. Pre tender site visit certificate shall be issued by the Authorized KeRRA Staff which shall be attached to the tender document before submission.
A contractor / Associate company are eligible for award of a maximum of One (1) contract in Nandi Region in the Financial Year 2022-2023.
Tender documents detailing additional requirements, specification and scope of works will be obtained from KeRRA Website; www.kerra.go.ke or Public Procurement Information Portal(PPIP)www.tenders.go.ke FREE OF CHARGE, as from Wednesday 9th February, 2023.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Eligible bidders must meet and attach the following mandatory requirements among others: -
- Bidder must provide all the information required as per the advertisement and tender document
- Eligibility - To enhance EQUITY, Bidders shall bid for a maximum of One (1No.) tenders across the region. Bidders who participate in more than one (1No.) tenders shall be disqualified.
- Any form of Canvassing will lead to disqualification
NB: All certification of documents shall be original and executed by Commissioner for Oaths or Notaries dated and Signed.

Completed duly serialized tender documents in Wax sealed plain envelopes marked with Tender reference and road name description, should be deposited in the Tender Box located at the KeRRA Regional Office Kapsabet or be addressed and sent to;

Tender documents MUST be submitted not later than 10.00 am on or before 20th February, 2023 and deposited in the Tender Boxes Marked for the respective constituency located at the Regional Director’s office reception.
Submitted bids will be opened publicly immediately after closing in the presence of the Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
Late bids will be returned unopened.
The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any tender with reasons thereof and is not bound to accept the lowest quoted or any non-responsive tender.
