INV ITATION Of  BIDS  FOR SPOT IMPROVEMEN'f  WORKS UNDER   GOK  DEVELOPMENT AND

10% C.S  ALLOCATIONS FOR F/Y 2022/2023 ROAD WORKS.

Bids are invited  from Contractors who are  pre-qualified in (Mandera  Region)  in respective con stituencies advertised for

Financial  Year 2022/2023 under  categories specified and registered with the NCA in respective categories for  Spot im provement works below.

Mandatorv site visit  shall  be held on 13th September, 2023 sta rting 8.00am at Respecti ve KeRRA  Constituency Offices indicated  above. Bidders  wi ll be req uired  to provi de their own tra nsport during  the pre-tender site visit.

In terested  eligi ble bi dders  may inspect and obtai n the tender docu ments from  Procurement Office; KeRRA-  Mandera, from

6th September, 2023 during  working hours  upon  pay ment of a non-refundable fee of KShs 1,000.00 to be deposi ted to Account  No 1114343196 KCB Moi  Avenue branch payable  to Kenya Rural Roads Authority (deposit sli p shou l d bear con tract no, co m pa n y's  name a nd constituency) or downloaded from  tenders.KeRRA.go.ke . Ma ndatory Requirements.

• Certified Certificate of incorporation,
• Certified Certificate of registration with NCA Category 6,7 and  8,
• Cetti fied VAT registration certificate,
• Cetti tied PI N registration certificate,
• Ccttified valid tax compliance certificate.
• Bi dders must serial ize sequentially all pages of thei r tender docu ments submitted usi ng serial ization machine
• Other requi rements as stated in the Tender  Documents

Evaluation Criteria.

The criteria shall be as descri bed in the Tender Document.

B: -  The  documents shall   be  properly filled , initialed on  each   page  and  shall  be  Substantially   responsive to  the requirements of the Tender documents.

Scope of work.

Descri ption and scope of works is as descri bed i n the Tender Document. Price quoted shall include  taxes a nd must  be expressed in Kenya sh i llings.

Completed Tender Documents (with  offi ci al payment  receipt  attached) enclosed in separate sealed  envel opes  and clearly marked  wi th respecti ve tender  number and tender na me (road  name and num ber) shall be deposi ted to Regional director's office Tender  Box in Mandera  town  on or before 20th September, 2023 at 10.00  A.M.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter,  in the presence of those Tenderers or their re presenlalives who choose to

a/lend. Late Bids will not be accepted.
