1. The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a state corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act 2007, with the responsibility of management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of Rural Roads.

1. The Authority hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to bid for Installation, Integration, Management and Operation of four (4) virtual weighbridges. This includes one (1) year of Installation and Integration and two (2) years of Management and Operation.

1. Bidders are required to download full details of the advertisement and tender documents from the Authority’s website www.kerra.go.ke as from 20^th March, 2024.

1. Attendance to Pre-Tender Site visit is Mandatory.

Pre-bid site visits for Installation, Integration, Management and Operation of Four (4) Virtual Weighbridge Stations shall be held on the below dates and times. Certificate of Bidder`s visit to site will be signed by an authorized KeRRA personnel and recorded at the particular sites and dates given in the table below:

1. Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and deposited in the Tender Box located on Ground Floor, Barabara Plaza Block B, or be addressed and posted to the below address on or before 18^th April, 2024 at 11.00am.

1. The Tender for Installation, Integration, Management and Operation of Four (4) Virtual Weighbridge Stations shall comprise of the following which will be submitted together in a single envelope:

1. 1^st Inner sealed Envelope with the Technical Proposal
2. 2^nd Inner sealed Envelope with the Financial Proposal

1. Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter on the 18^th April, 2024 at the Ground Floor Board Room, Barabara Plaza, Block B in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.

1. Bids not received at the submission venue by the closing date and time will not be accepted for opening and will be rejected and returned unopened.

1. Errors in the pricing of the Bills of Quantities will not be corrected. Bidders with such errors will be disqualified.

1. All pages of the submitted documents are to be Serialized from the First page to the last page.

1. Bulky tenders which do not fit in the Tender Box shall be delivered to the Supply Chain Management Office located on the 3rd Floor, South Wing, Barabara Plaza, Block B.

1. Bidders are advised to regularly visit the KeRRA website and PPIP Portal for any Information/ Addendums on the above tender.
