TENDER NOTICE 

ADDENDUM NO. 2 

SPOT IMPROVEMENT AND UPGRADING/ CONSTRUCTION OF VARIOUS ROADS AND DRAINAGE STRUCTURES.

Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the Authority’s website and Mygov on The Star Newspaper dated 26^th November, 2024 and Long Advert and Uploaded Bid Documents appearing on our Website on 3^rd December, 2024, and Addendum No. 1 dated 27^th December, 2024.

Interested Bidders are requested to note the following amendments for the Tenders published under the referenced Tender Notice;

1. Amend Tender Security Amount under Table 1, Criteria No. 1 on Preliminary Examination (Section III – Evaluation & Qualification Criteria) for the Tender for Spot Improvement of Kokotoni – Mwanda E3046 Road, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/47/2024 – 25 (Kwale Region) to read as follows;

“Provide a Tender Security of KShs. 500,000 in the required format”  

2. Amend the Tender Number (No.) in the Tender Document for the Tender for Spot Improvement of Co-Operative Bank DCs Office – Law Court Road (Kirinyaga Region) to read as indicated in the Long Advertisment Notice as follows;

“ KeRRA/08/39/42/2024-25”

When submitting the Tender for Spot Improvement of Co-Operative Bank DCs Office – Law Court Road (Kirinyaga Region), the Reference Number/ Tender Number should be indicated as

“KeRRA/08/39/42/2024-25”

3. That the Tender Document with the correct format (reformatted from A3 to A4) for the following tenders have been uploaded;
4. Tender for Spot Improvement of Kangoki – Kisii Road, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/23/2024-25 (Kiambu Region),
5. Tender for Spot Improvement of Yamogo – Njoro Road, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/32/2024-25 (Kiambu Region),
6. Tender for Spot Improvement of Jn B7 (Kilimapesa) – Mashangwa & Access roads to Angata Sugarmills, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/85/2024-25 (Narok Region),
7. Tender for Spot Improvement of Enoosaen – Ildulisho – Nkararo – Gem – Kehancha, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/86/2024-25 (Narok Region),
8. Tender for Spot Improvement of Suswa – Inkorienito, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/87/2024-25 (Narok Region)
9. Tender for Spot Improvement of Loliondo – Ilmeshuki – Olpisiai Road, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/88/2024 – 2025 (Narok Region),
10. The submission date and time for ALL the tenders (Apart from Tender for Routine Maintenance and Spot Improvement of Njeri – Oriwo – Border & Adiedo – Border – Pala Roads, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/17/2024-2025 that has been cancelled) listed under the initial Advertisement published on 26^th November, 2024 and Addendum No. 1 dated 27^th December, 2024 remains as 7^th January, 2025 at 11.00am as per The Tender Notice.
11. Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and deposited in the Tender Boxes at the offices of respective Regional Directors as indicated in the initial Long Advertisement that can be downloaded from the Authority’s website.
12. Interested bidders should note that the amendments detailed herewith takes precedence.
13. All interested bidders are required to continually check the Kenya Rural Roads Authority website: kerra.go.ke for any tender addendums or clarifications that may arise before submission date.
14. Bidders with enquiries are encouraged to do so vide the email address procurementhq@kerra.go.ke.
15. All other information as pertaining to the tenders remains the same.
