ADDENDUM NO. 1

UPGRADING, SPOT IMPROVEMENT & CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE STRUCTURES ON VARIOUS ROADS BATCH 3

Addendum No. 1 – Batch 3

Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the MyGov Edition Star Newspaper dated 3^rd March 2026 and the Long Advert dated 17^th April, 2026.

 

Interested Bidders are requested to note the following clarifications and amendments;

 

1. The Tender for Routine Maintenance and Spot Improvement of Banyal – Eltutu in Tana River, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/88/2025-2026 is hereby
2. The Tender for Routine Maintenance and Spot Improvement of B8 Haroresa in Tana River, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/90/2025-2026, is hereby
3. The correct location for the Tender for Routine Maintenance and Spot Improvement of Kwa Gladys – Sirikwa – Muthenji, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/94/2025-2026 is Nakuru and NOT Uasin Gishu. The assembly point for the Site Visit shall be KeRRA Office Nakuru.
4. The Tender Document for Rehabilitation of Brook Bond – Maili Nne -Kipkelion – Londiani / Kipkelion -Taita Boys/Ainamoi – Thesallia Mission Road/Taita Girls – Lilloch & Mutaragon – Fortenan and Access Roads Project, Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/75/2025-2026, has been amended and the Revised tender Document has been uploaded
5. PRE-TENDER SITE VISITS shall be OPEN but MANDATORY. Bidders are required to visit respective sites in liaison with the Regional Directors at their own arranged time as guided by the respective Regional Directors.
6. Bidders are required to obtain a Pre-tender Site Visit Certificate duly signed by the respective Regional Directors.

8. That the Tender Data Sheet under Section II of the Tender Document for Tenders under Batch 3 shall have as an Addition of ITT 45.1 the following;

Add to ITT 45.1:

The procuring entity may conduct negotiations as prescribed where—

(a) there is a tie in the lowest evaluated price by two or more tenderers;

(b) there is a tie in highest combined score points;

(c) the lowest evaluated price is in excess of available budget.

Completed tender documents for the Tender for Repair and Rehabilitation of Lanet – Pipeline – Elementaita – Mau Narok (C713/C712), Tender No. KeRRA/08/39/66/2025 – 2026 should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and deposited in the Tender Box at the of Kenya Rural Roads Authority (Head Office) 3rd Floor, South Wing, Barabara Plaza Block B, or be addressed and posted to the address below on or before 12^th May, 2026 at 11.00 a.m.
10.
