REVISED RWC 684 BID DOC FOR MULOT-SOGOO-TENWET-SAPTET SOGOO-OLOLUNG’A SHARTUKA – NJIPSHIP – OLCHOPOSEI – GORGOR ROAD 29.03.25

Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the Authority’s website and the MyGov pullout on The Star Newspaper dated 25^th March 2025.

Interested Bidders are requested to note the following amendments for the Tenders published under the above referenced Tender Notice;

1. That Bidders are required to Amend the Tender Security Amount under ITT 21.1 (Data Sheet) to read as 5,000,000.00(Five Million.) for Tender No. RWC 684-Upgrading to Bitumen Standards of Mulot-Sogoo-Tendet -Sopet-Sogoo-Ololunga and Shartuka-Njipship-Olchobosei-Gorgor Roads
2. Clarifications and amendments as to the tenders for Upgrading to Bitumen Standard of Wahambla-Imbo Road, Tender No. RWC/682 tender for Upgrading to Bitumen Standard of  Ruga-Lala Road ,Tender No. RWC/683 and RWC 684 – Upgrading to Bitumen Standards of Mulot-Sogoo-Tendet -Sopet-Sogoo-Ololunga and Shartuka-Njipship-Olchobosei-Gorgor Roads are as follows ;

1	RWC 682 Item 4.01-Rate for this Bill Item is already given in the document. Item 4.02-Rate for this Bill Item is already given in the document   Kindly clarify if we should adopt the given rates or the contractor is supposed to quote his own rates.	The  BOQ’s for tender no’s RWC 682, RWC 683 and 684 have been revised including other corrections and the revised tender documents have been uploaded on the Authority’s website www.kerra.go,ke
2	RWC-683- 1.     Item 1.07-vehicle month is stated as 1, is it correct? 2.     Item 7.04-stone pitching 77,000m3, is it too hogh? 3.     Item 17.02- concrete class 25(20) is 1400m3, is this quantity correct or too high? 4.     Item 17.11-steel reinforcement levy 0.03% is missing. 5.     Summary page, procurement levy is missing. 6.     Land compensation kshs 50,000,000 is it correct?
3	RWC-684- Item no.4.3the amount in the description is 1 million but the rate is indicated as 2,000,000 and sum is also indicated as 2,000,000.00

 

 

1. That the submission and opening date for Tender No. RWC 682 and RWC 683 remain as on or before 3^rd April, 2025 at 11.00am as per the tender notice of 25^th March,2025.

2. That the submission and opening date for Tender No. for RWC 684 has been extended to on or before 10^th April, 2025 at 11.00am.
3. Interested bidders should note the amendments detailed herewith take precedence and they should include them when preparing their Bid Documents.
4. All interested bidders are required to continuously check the Kenya Rural Roads Authority website: kerra.go.ke for any tender addendums or clarifications that may arise before the submission date.
5. Interested Bidders with enquiries are encouraged to do so vide the email address procurementhq@kerra.go.ke.
6. All other information pertaining to the tenders remains the same.
